As a creative mind, I have to do it all.

It all started when I was 9 years old singing Shania Twain at JB’s in Balfour, BC.
Fast forward to age 15 when I started singing in bars 3-4 times a week. I was a
true musical self-starter. My story-driven lyrics and carefree stage presence took
me all over Canada. It took me to Nashville, for a once-in-a-lifetime performance
with Keith Urban. Three albums later, multiple tours across Canada, living from
Vancouver to Toronto to Nashville and now, back to my Kootenay roots in Trail, BC.

At the peak of the pandemic was also the peak of my career and my third album release. I found myself performing on Global Morning News from my living room. The live performances in my pj’s were great in a way, but the complete halt to touring and being on stage was taken away. I had nothing but time.

At this time, I started studying for real estate. I’ve always had a big interest in homes. Growing up, my Mom and I moved a lot, and I loved it! I loved searching for the next one, packing and unpacking my room. Not to mention, two members of my band in Trail are realtors. Fast forward and I’m almost 2 years into my real estate career and LOVE it! I love every single part of it and am blessed to feel as passionate about this as I did about music.

In the midst of all that, somehow I found the time to start a new creative venture called Kootenay Canvas. Because I can’t not be creative. This is a retro-style canvas featuring Kootenay Boundary country - inspired by my love for the outdoors, our region and art. You can buy these from me directly, at the local markets or in some select stores!

All in all, I love the moments I still get to grace the stage locally. I love being creative with my Kootenay Canvas, and I love selling real estate. And I love being real, and making real connections.
